  • The Port of Vancouver is North America's 2nd largest (behind New York) and the largest bulk cargo port in the hemisphere
  • Downtown is a regular locale for movie and television production, and some of the biggest stars of Hollywood are invariably residing in the district during these filmings. Vancouver is 2nd only to Los Angeles in North America in combined film and television production, and trails only Los Angeles and New York in feature films.
